How can you help us in this endeavor? Simply by becoming a member of The Adamson Alumni
Association or if you’re already a member, by sending in your renewal form along with the $15 annual fee. We are totally dependent on membership dues and individual donations which enable us to
continue publishing the quarterly Acorn and hosting the Annual All Class Reunion / Golf Tournament, along with covering the mounting operational costs. This years’ 8th Annual Reunion will take place on
Saturday, April 25th, and we are encouraging everyone to make a special effort to attend in order to show strong support for the Save Our School campaign, and to participate in what has been
characterized by past participants as an annual dose of Leopard Esprit de Corp and that unexplainable warm feeling of returning to your teenage roots.
Please make it a point to mail us back the registration form for the Alumni Reunion, along with your $10 check at your earliest possible convenience so that we can make all the necessary arrangements
for what may turn out to be the largest gathering of former Leopards in many many years. Our fabulous barbeque lunch begins at noon in the cafeteria, followed by a lively program in the
auditorium, and concludes with the very popular tour of Oak Cliff in a modern tour bus, highlighted by a visit to Mr. Adamson’s former residence on N. Montclair St., and drive-bys to all our old familiar
hangouts. Relax…all of our drive-bys are of a very gentle nature and truly memorable.
One last note: If you are interested in participating in a conversational discussion relevant to the
Save The School project, the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League will open their doors at their monthly meeting on March 11 at 7pm, to be held at Cliff Café, next to the popular and recently restored
Belmont Hotel located at the intersection of Ft. Worth Ave. and Sylvan Ave. Everyone is welcome.
