This is the field where legendary E. King Gill-Texas A&M University's 12th man attended practice.

Hello All!
Just wanted to write everyone and let you know that the 2009 Football Season has begun.  We began
workouts this past Monday. The 10th was the first day we were allowed on the field since we participated in Spring Drills this past Spring.  We have had a great first couple of days. Day 1 we had 50-plus show up to work out and also had over 50 on day 2. Today will be Day 3 of our workouts.

FIRST SCRIMMAGE
We will be scrimmaging Sunset and and Thomas Jefferson next Friday and then will scrimmage Molina the Thursday after that. As soon as I get a 2009 Football Schedule on my computer I will attach it to an email and send it to everyone!

WORKOUTS THIS WEEK AND NEXT
This week we are asking the young men to come to the school at 4:30 and we begin practice at 5:00.
For the first hour and a half we work inside and watch film or lift weights and then we get on the practice field at 6:00 and remain on the field until 8:30 or so. This Friday will be our first day in football pads since we are required to hold non-contact drills for the first 4 days in order for the kids to get acclimated to the Texas Heat!
